We’re having “Italian flag pasta” for dinner ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น inspired by the abundance of basil from Justin’s garden. But for those who don’t like pesto, there’s always the English flag ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ

The first time we saw our python pal, he was hoisting himself up into the underside of the bbq on deck. He wound and coiled until you wouldn’t know he was there. We joked that we’d better always check the barbie before we lit her up. A
Repairing the driveway. The excavator could do so much, but someone needed to jump in and shovel the debris away from the pipe opening… towards the end I had to hold my breath, reaching down into the muddied water up to my ears
Getting the driveway repaired. Like all things out here, it is temporary — until the next big rains — but it’s good to be accessible again. Very grateful for the support and community of our neighbours!
We found a treasure map on the property recently, while dismantling the Bunker. We followed the map and found… another map! We’re off to find Mad Wally’s treasure next month….
